We (Paula, Jess & Evie) decided to work as a group on the initial ideas we collected for our practice task which we have explained and written down in (Post 1) Our practice task explained
We were given a task in groups of 2/3 to create a film poster in response to a ready made one from a previous film. Our poster was Rocky V: (this is the original) The one we made: We took some photos of Luke in the same position as the man in the Rocky V poster. We took a wide range and then selected the 2 most similar ones to the poster that we were given. We then moved them over to Photoshop and layered the two images over the top of an American flag, which was as similar to the original poster as possible. We then cut around the full body image, in order to get rid of the background of that photo in order to place it on top of the American Flag. Then we added the close up image of Luke behind the full body image. we put it all together, and in the end became a successful poster.

We decided to keep the front cover quite simple and only display the artist's name above the album title. To give the cover a more interesting feature we added a transparent border around the edges which will appear throughout the ancillary tasks. The back cover is a photograph of the two girls holding hands standing in front of the sea which the focus on the waves of the sea. The composition of this image gave the perfect setting for the album list as the arms of the girls create a kind of border around the titles and give a sense of symmetry. Because of the distant focus it also almost seems as if the girls are looking out towards the titles which emerge in the far above the sea. In the bottom of the back cover we added a barcode as well as the credits which includ...
